This year women's Bible studies meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in the mornings and evenings.

These helpful times encourage women of all ages and backgrounds in their relationship with the Lord and help build community with one another through fellowship, prayer, and the study of God's Word. 

Westside Women’s Bible Studies - Fall 2020

ROMANS
WHEN: Mondays, 7:30 pm, starting Oct. 12
WHERE: Home of Brittaney Hostynek
DESCRIPTION: This will be a study walking through the book of Romans. No study guide needed. You will go through the book chapter by chapter using the inductive method of Bible study. You will look at some of the foundational truths of the Gospel. This could be a great opportunity to invite an unsaved friend!

BEHOLD YOUR GOD
WHEN: Tuesdays, 10:00-11:30 am-noon, starting Oct. 13
WHERE: On Zoom
DESCRIPTION: This will be a study on an aspect of God’s character each week. This is a DVD and study guide type study that will be spread out over 24 weeks. Each week’s lesson is preceded by a brief historical profile of a notable man or woman of God such as Charles Spurgeon, Amy Carmichael, and Jonathan Edwards. The heart of each DVD is a 30-minute lesson on one aspect of the Christian life and how it is affected by a biblical rethinking of God’s character. The teaching sessions are led by Dr. John Snyder, pastor of Christ Church in Mississippi.

DESCRIPTION: This is a simply inductive study through John’s account of the life of Christ, going through a chapter a week.

ACTS
WHEN: Thursdays, 7:00 pm, starting Oct. 1.
WHERE: The homes of both Laura Huerta and Stacy Ingram
DESCRIPTION: This study is a simple walk-through the book of Acts, a chapter a week. No study guide needed. It will be an exciting look at the beginnings of Christianity and the boldness of the disciples.is a simply inductive study through John’s account of the life of Christ, going through a chapter a week.

RISEN MOTHERHOOD
WHEN: Thursdays, 7:30 pm, starting Oct. 15
WHERE: On Zoom with a few face-to-face gatherings
DESCRIPTION: This is a book club style study for the mother who feels as though she has reached her limit but doesn’t know where to turn for help. For the mother who secretly fears her world will crumble if she doesn’t keep all the plates spinning. For the mother who is lonely and can’t hear the call to life in God’s community. For the mother who is grieving through the deepest kind of heartache and is crying out “God do you see this? Do you hear me?” This book is for every mom who wants to better apply the Gospel to motherhood. The group will go through one chapter a week.
