During the time when the coronavirus has caused us to suspend all in-person gatherings, youth groups are meeting online.
Youth ministries at Westside exist to partner with parents to inspire our teens to have a passion for God and desire to impact this world for Him.
Each Sunday morning at 11:00, our youth meet in discussion-oriented classes. Teens learn from the Bible how to live a life that is joyful and pleasing to God despite the pressures of teenage life.
Youth gatherings are also held Sundays 4:00-6:00 pm during the school year. "Bridges" is for senior-high youth while "The Power" is for junior-highers. See the calendar for the meeting times.
Bible teaching and fun activities encourage teens to build strong and wholesome friendships, develop their own personal walk with God and share Jesus Christ with non-Christian friends. Westside provides other opportunities for teens to get connected, including retreats, youth conferences and concerts.
We make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment for our youth. Because of the widespread problem of child abuse in our society, we have implemented a Child Abuse Risk Reduction (CARR) policy in all of our youth and children's programs.
