Youth ministries at Westside exist to partner with parents to inspire our teens to have a passion for God and desire to impact this world for Him.
Youth gatherings are held on Sundays during the school year. "The Power" for junior-highers meets 3:00-5:00 pm while "Bridges" for senior-high youth meets 6:00-8:00 pm See the calendar.
Bible teaching and fun activities encourage teens to build strong and wholesome friendships, develop their own personal walk with God and share Jesus Christ with non-Christian friends. Westside provides other opportunities for teens to get connected, including retreats, youth conferences and concerts.
Our youth groups mission statement: “Seeking to disciple youth in the way, truth, and life of Jesus”
Vision statement: “To see youth experience the life transforming power of Jesus while missionally living for Him in every moment”
We make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment for our youth. Because of the widespread problem of child abuse in our society, we have implemented a Child Abuse Risk Reduction (CARR) policy in all of our youth and children's programs.
