Stephanie Gossard

Stephanie was raised in the spectacular cities of San Diego and Seattle, in an academic household with two sports-minded brothers. After four freezing years studying Humanities in the Midwest, she landed in Eugene, Oregon. She fully met the Lord at that time, and was well-discipled. Married to husband Andrew for more than thirty years, a few early years together were spent living and exploring New England. Five years later they returned to Oregon with a tiny daughter. That daughter is now grown and married and has a daughter of her own.

Stephanie has richly enjoyed the work and artistry of keeping a home, raising a child, extending hospitality, homeschooling, and welcoming and serving foreign students. She loves books, art appreciation, cultural variety, and history. Engaging a diversity of people, exposing unbelievers to unfamiliar aspects of scripture, trying to find something in common with anyone, sharing Jesus, and connecting through humor are all favorite activities.

Prayer is an important part of Stephanie’s walk with the Lord. Spending time with friends and family, especially her dear little granddaughter, adds the spice of joy to life.
