Youth ministries at Westside exist to partner with parents to inspire our teens to have a passion for God and desire to impact this world for Him. Bible teaching and fun activities encourage teens to build strong and wholesome friendships, develop their own personal walk with God and share Jesus Christ with non-Christian friends.
The mission of youth ministries is "Seeking to disciple youth in the way, truth, and life of Jesus." The focus theme has been "Jesus changes everything!" Today's youth are facing deep and sometimes complicated needs. Jesus Christ is able to address every need, no matter how deep and complicated, and change people from the inside out.
The Power is our junior high group, and Bridges is our high school group. Led by committed leadership teams, youth gatherings are held during the school year at Westside Sundays 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Bible studies, youth retreats, and other activities for the youth are held at other times. See the calendar.
OUR COMMITMENT TO THE SAFETY OF OUR YOUTH
We make every effort to provide a safe and secure environment for children and youth. Because of the problem of child abuse in our society, we have implemented a strict Child Abuse Risk Reduction (CARR) policy in all of our youth and children's programs.
