Trusting during this difficult time
The Elders and Deacons continue to follow the rapidly changing situation of the coronavirus pandemic.
We respect the potential dangers associated with this disease and encourage people to take precautions recommended by health authorities: Wash your hands often with soap and water. If water is not available, use hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces. Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. Stay home when you are sick. Those in high-risk groups (the elderly and those with compromised immune systems) should stay home and avoid crowds as much as possible.
One of the best ways we can love our neighbor as ourselves during this time is to do our part to slow the spread of this disease. This is what love requires of us. For this reason, the Elders and Deacons have taken the step to temporarily suspend all gatherings (Sunday morning services, Life Groups, Youth Groups, and Lifeline). We plan to begin livestreaming our Sunday Worship messages.
