James McDonald

James was born 1999 in San Clemente, California, and was raised there. His heart was captured by the Lord's heart some years later. Through the ministry of many brothers and sisters, he's found a home in the church and is committed to following what 1 John says, "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God." He moved to Portland in 2022 for work and started fellowshipping with the local church at Westside a year later. Strongly believing in the priesthood of the believers and that God's work needs workers, he soon plugged into the ministry in tech, youth, young adult, and with the Missions Team. James "presses on the upward way" quoting hymns, reading old books, and discussing semantics while loving the believers as best as he knows how.
