Westside Bible Fellowship is a community of Christians with a mission to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. We encourage all who want to be a part of Westside to embrace this mission and our Core Values as we together follow the Lord Jesus Christ.
Some churches have a formal membership where people commit to be functioning members of that church. Westside is different in that we ask people to make a commitment to live out the concept of loving fellowship with others. This is because the local church isn’t a service we attend but an identifiable group of people who are mutually committed to one another. So, we ask all who have chosen Westside as their home church to personally commit themselves to live in peace with others and to live out the concept of fellowship as taught in the New Testament by encouraging and serving them.
“Be at peace among yourselves. And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.” (1 Thessalonians 5:13-14)
“Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
It is necessary for Westside's Elders to know who they are called to shepherd. It’s helpful for them to know who has committed to running with our church and its leaders.
We ask each person who considers Westside to be their church home to prayerfully complete our Commitment to Fellowship form. Click the button below to access and complete this simple form.
