Reading and studying God's Word, the Bible, is a wonderful way to get to know God and hear his voice through the pages of Scripture. Many resources are available to help you with your Bible study. Here is a list of just a few suggestions. While some of them are targeted to women, they have value for anyone wishing to learn how to read and study the Bible.

- Jesus Bible (An excellent way to stay engaged in the O.T. when it gets dry. It has many pull-out boxes that show how an O.T. passage points to Christ. Other styles available.)

- Women Of The Word: How To Study the Bible With Both Our Hearts and Our Minds, by Jen Wilkin (intended for women, helpful for all)
- Before You Open Your Bible: Nine Heart Postures for Approaching God’s Word, by Matt Smethurst (a little book that can be read in an evening!)
- How To Read the Bible For All Its Worth, by Gordon Fee and Douglas Stuart
- In The Word Journal, by Daily Grace Co. (an undated guide to help you slowly savor any verse/passage of the Bible)

- Bible Hub and Blue Letter Bible (apps available as well) are both great resources for learning about words in their original languages, finding commentaries etc.
